Bio

Spencer is passionate about decision-making processes among individuals and institutions. He believes that the unpredictable nature of human behavior makes for a more fascinating, rewarding field to study. Currently a PhD student in the Chemical and Biological Engineering department at Northwestern University, he is originally from Seoul, South Korea and Vancouver, Canada.

Previously, he has worked on developing more effective drug-target models and quantum chemical methods. Spencer is a recipient of the Ryan Fellowship from International Institute of Nanotechnology. In his free time, Spencer cycles along the lakeshore and plays fingerstyle guitar.

Spencer is always looking forward to connecting with other researchers and discussing ideas/projects! Feel free to drop an email.
